THE JOURNEY
I’ve seen firsthand how technology can open doors to meaningful work and long-term stability. My focus is on closing the gap between the demand for tech talent and the limited access many people have to training. By addressing barriers like cost, lack of resources, or geographic limitations, I aim to provide practical pathways into the tech workforce—helping individuals build meaningful careers and improving local economies. Technology plays a key role in making that possible—turning skills into opportunity and creating long-term impact for both people and communities.

QUICK
BIO
EARLY BEGINNINGS
In 2011, I founded Comunidad IT in Argentina after seeing a growing gap between the demand for tech talent and the lack
of accessible training. The goal was to close that gap by offering free, practical education to people with limited access
to skills development and employment opportunities.
Over the following years, I expanded the program across Latin America, including Chile and Mexico, helping thousands gain the
skills to start careers in technology.
THE MOVE TO CANADA
After moving to Manitoba in 2015, I noticed a similar problem: many people were stuck in survival jobs without access
to the training needed to move forward. At the same time, demand for skilled IT professionals was increasing across the country.
Drawing on my experience in Latin America, I decided to found a new organization—ComIT—to address this gap in Canada.
FOUNDING COMIT
In 2016, I founded ComIT, a charitable organization that provides free training in technology and professional skills
to unemployed and underemployed Canadians. The goal is to equip them with the tools to enter the tech workforce and meet
the growing demand for skilled professionals.
ComIT works closely with Indigenous peoples, newcomers, and others facing systemic
employment challenges, delivering practical programs that lead to real job opportunities.
BRIDGING
GAPS
EXPANDING ACCESS TO TECH CAREERS
I’m committed to making tech education more accessible because it creates real opportunities for people—and helps address the talent gap in the industry. When more people gain the right skills, the sector becomes stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for the future.
EXTENDING ACCESS THROUGH LEADERSHIP
Beyond running training programs, I also share insights through articles, events, and public talks. One of my proudest achievements has been launching the Recoding Futures program in 2021 with the support of Google Canada, providing Indigenous learners with free training and resources to pursue careers in tech.
ONGOING
IMPACT
COLLABORATIONS
Before founding ComIT, I worked in IT roles at Microsoft and IBM—experiences that shaped my understanding of how
technology drives real-world outcomes.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with companies including Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and Oracle on a range of initiatives.
I’ve also partnered with universities such as MIT, the University of Buenos Aires, and UdeSA, as well as with federal and provincial
governments in both Canada and Argentina.
CONTINUING THE MISSION
Today, I live in Winnipeg with my family and continue working to make tech education more accessible to those who face barriers to employment. My focus is on bridging the gap between the growing demand for skilled professionals in the tech industry and the many individuals who have the potential —but not the opportunity— to enter the field.
